I Heart Faces: A Touch of Whimsey

I'd Love to Be a Fairy's Child
by Robert Graves

Children born of fairy stock
Never need for shirt or frock,
Never want for food or fire,
Always get their hearts desire:
Jingle pockets full of gold,
Marry when they're seven years old.
Every fairy child may keep
Two strong ponies and ten sheep;
All have houses, each his own,
Built of brick or granite stone;
They live on cherries, they run wild
I'd love to be a fairy child.

The theme over at I Heart Faces this week is A touch of whimsy. This is Flower Child having a fairy tea party with our fairy dog Mia:) (Dog's can be fairies right?). The neighbors thought we were crazy when we set the whole yard up, but it was totally worth it:) BTW click on the button below to check out other fabulous entries at iheartfaces.com

  1. And I do realize I spelled "whimsy" wrong but if I change it, it messes up the link, lol!
